This is what MSR 2024 participants sound like

Daniel O. Fikuart

300 - You can do it too! The report of (m)one hero round by me, Daniel, with my buddy Kevin, should encourage you!

Here exclusively for MSR fans --> /stimmen-msr-2024/msr-300-reportage.pdf

Bert

300 - Also on behalf of my club mates from (club) - thank you for a great experience. Wonderful route, so many friendly helpers and the perfect weather :-)
Could hardly have been more beautiful and - it's hard to believe considering the 300 kilometres - it was over far too quickly.
We would love to come back! Best regards from Berlin

Peter

300 - We were first-timers, the four of us signed up in December on a whim and then thought about how we could manage the preparations. The result was a few thousand indoor and outdoor kilometres and I would like to thank you for a successful and very committed event that was a welcome size. Well organised and communicated. My thanks go above all to the countless helpers who showed us the way, waved us through and guided us to the depots, as well as the many people in the depots who made sure that we were able to tear down our 300 kilometres as we did. Without them we could have completed the route, but hardly in the time and hardly as a relaxed event, we only met friendly people in the depots and at the start/finish, great team! We had good food, nothing was ever empty or out of stock, there were never any waiting times due to a lack of supplies. My highlight was the chocolate with my coffee. All the other food was also delicious and good energy for driving. But the chocolate was not necessary, and still very welcome. I noticed it and was pleased that there was dark chocolate. :-)

Christiane

300 - Hello dear MSR team, my boyfriend took part in the MSR for the first time this year. As we both really enjoyed it, he would like to take part again next year. Is there already a date for the MSR 2025?

Gertrud

100 - Good morning, I would like to thank you again for the great organisation, the tour was super planned and executed, I would especially like to thank you for the very tasty cake at the first depot, the rhubarb cake was a poem!

Jan

300 - ... First of all I would like to thank you for the great organisation of the MSR300, my first 300 km route at the MSR was an unforgettable experience for me. Thank you!

Familie W

Landlord - We gave Mr H a place to stay as planned and he was very happy with it.

Heiko

Unfortunately I could not attend this year and to avoid this for next year I need the date of MSR 2025 as soon as possible. Thank you!

Nina

300 - Thank you very much for the fantastic organisation of this year's event. What criteria have to be met to apply as a guide for the Women's MSR?

Daniel

300 - I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all. I had a great MSR and I would especially like to thank the supporters at the start and finish, as well as at the depots, where everyone was friendly and had a smile on their face. Given the amount of time and the number of athletes who wanted to be catered for, you could tell that everyone was really keen on the event and put their heart and soul into it! A freshly prepared fruit salad, nothing from a tin or anything similar. Where can you find something like that? My thanks also go to the helpers at the junctions and danger areas. The traffic was perfectly regulated and signalled to us from afar when we could simply roll through, and they always wished us a safe journey with a happy face - perfect and almost unbelievable, especially when you realise that over 3000 riders whizzed past these people on the big lap.

André

300 - I never had the MSR on my agenda even though I come from very close by!
As I ride a mountain bike (MTB), there were other races for me. Now I thought I could do with a long training ride. So I registered for the MSR.
I fitted slightly narrower tyres to my MTB and set off at 21:00 on 24 May
I was able to experience the feeling of a road bike for the first time, riding the first 80 kilometres in a fast road bike group (attached to the back 😊)
It was a GREAT FEELING to ride so fast and easily at 30-50 km/h.
After 80 km I had to let the group go, otherwise I would have burnt out my energy.
So I rode the next 50/60 km alone again at my usual pace until I met another mountain biker and managed to persuade him to ride together.
We had some nice conversations with other riders too, from young to old, from sporty to strong, everything was there. Top.
The service stations and the perfect organisation are the reason why I am writing this e-mail.
When I arrived at the first service station, I got goose bumps and almost tears in my eyes, I was very moved.
Loud music, fire and the passion with which the people on site served us, even the children behind the counter were infected by their enthusiasm.
Everything was perfectly organised, every intersection was signposted and provided with signposts and good humour.
Even the porta-potties were equipped with a small LED for lighting
Thank you very much!

P.S. Next year again, maybe we'll get another racing bike after all, who knows!

Stefan

300 - Moin! Quick question: Which chocolate was offered at the depots (milk, dark chocolate), brand or manufacturer????Thank you very much for the effort and the great organisation! We'll be back next year!

Vivien

300 - My husband successfully completed the MSR300 on Saturday! The organisation, the team spirit and the fact that everyone is a winner totally impressed us as spectators! Huge praise to everyone from the MSR-TEAM!!!

We are totally happy and proud as a family that (our) dad has achieved this, so we thought we would compete as a family team in the MSR 100 next year in 2025.

Herbert

300 - It was great, the organisation was perfect and you also made sure the weather was good - many thanks to the organisation team and everyone involved.

Donna

Dear Women's Community 2024!

Congratulations for your MEGA performance at the weekend!!!! And many thanks to the #msrguidesrock team - you were GREAT!!!

The post-processing of the event will take a little longer, and shortly afterwards the planning ‘25 will begin, including new impulses for the coming season. Get ready already!

Henry

300 - Is there already a date for 2025 or when can I register for the next round? Note: 30 - 31 May 2025

--> Registration from 1 Oct 2024

Klaus

300 - I would like to take this opportunity to send you a big compliment.

It was another great event, and it was great fun.

In particular, the great atmosphere among all the helpers, on the roads, at the refreshment stations, on the festival meadow, always inspires me, and this great atmosphere of the helpers is transferred to the entire event.

Simply great, simply great, keep it up!!!

Mathias

300 - Good morning, dear MSR organisation team, I have to compliment you again for this great event. I was there for the third time and will definitely be back 🙂

Katrin

300 - I took part in the MSR for the first time this year and would like to take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to all the helpers.

It was a wonderful day all round and I can only give the organisation a thumbs up. You can really feel the heart and soul and that they definitely don't make it easy for themselves here. I was delighted with the wide range of catering on offer and the varied route.
You really don't have to go to Sweden. Great!

Best regards from Dresden

Daniel aus Regensburg

It ended far too quickly🙃

Torsten

300 - I have a question.first of all, thank you very much for the great event and the super organisation.I forgot to take my certificate with me and wanted to ask if you could send it to me by post. My start number is: (of course!)I look forward to it, thank you very much and see you soon!

Jonas

Depot - The massages at the MSR were a lot of fun and we would love to do it again next year!

Christin

Depot - It was again a very nice event with many nice, endearing and above all grateful drivers.

The support and the work at the depot was great.

I would like to thank you for the trust you have placed in me as a physio and would be delighted to be involved again next year. Especially in this team constellation and with the long-established ladies, it was a lot of fun, worked wonderfully and harmonised well.

I hope we also left a positive impression on the riders and were able to provide therapeutic help to one or two of them.

Regards Christin

Sebastian

MSR: 😍THANK YOU FOR YOUR INVITATION ON THE OCCASION OF YOUR 10TH PARTICIPATION IN THE 10TH MSR

Sebastian: Thank you very much for the invitation, which I would like to accept. However, I am accompanied by my wife, who is also competing in the MSR.

MSR: We look forward to seeing you both!

Nicolaj

Thomas

300 - Moin moin,

On behalf of my 6 fellow riders, I would like to thank you for the great organisation, the really beautiful route, the Sattelfest and the overall successful event.

However, there is one fly in the ointment that is not directly related to the organisation. On the penultimate stage, one of my fellow cyclists was told by another cyclist that such disabled people could not ride this route at all and then also had the golden start number for the 5th participation, this could not be true. In response to the justified question of what he had against people with disabilities, my fellow cyclist was punched in the back. Witnesses to the incident must have taken photos, did they reach you? We reported the incident at the penultimate station. I wasn't present at the incident myself, but I'm relying on the accounts of my fellow travellers.

With Verena Bentele and Jan Wiedemann, you have exceptional para-athletes in your team. I think it's right and important that you endeavour to be inclusive, that you are open about it and that you advertise it.

In 2015, Schleswiger Werkstätten für Menschen mit Behinderung raced the MSR for the first time with athletes with disabilities - physical, mental, psychological or social-emotional disabilities. So far we have been there 7 times. It has always been a great experience. It is so important for these people to be recognised as part of the community, as athletes who are capable of tremendous achievements. Some of them took part in the 2018 Special Olympics in Kiel, where they competed for and won medals.

We want to take part in the MSR again next year in 2025 with a larger group. Preparations for this have begun, and training will start again next week after a short break. Taking part in the MSR next year is the motivation and the goal that our athletes are working towards.

Christin

SattelFEST - We were at your event in Neubrandenburg yesterday to meet Grandpa and unfortunately we lost our daughter's dummy chain. We immediately looked for it and asked at several stands, but unfortunately it was nowhere to be found.

Now I wanted to ask if you have something like a lost property office and perhaps it was handed in there. It has great emotional value for us.

She has purple and white beads, a little bell and a little bear and is called Lucy, the dummy on it is grey with Winnie the Pooh.

... MSR: found and dispatched

We would like to thank you once again. The dummy chain arrived today 🙂

Paulina

Depot - the 10th MSR was actually a great event for me too! Just the thought that I was able to make a positive contribution to the participants' achievements really motivated me. It's amazing what they achieved, which was sometimes very noticeable in their muscles. We received positive and very grateful feedback both during and after the event (e.g. ‘What would we have done without us?’ or ‘It's great that you exist’), which made us even happier! :)

Thank you very much for the opportunity to put my previous knowledge of physiotherapy into practice, it was exhausting at times, but very enjoyable!

Katja - Haus des Sports

It was wonderful once again and we are still totally enchanted by the positive atmosphere that emanated from every single participant. The girls in particular were very grateful that we were there and we do the same at ❤️!

It was breathtaking again and we will be a part of it again next year!

Best wishes from Katti and the rest of the team from the Haus des Sports!!!

André

SattelFEST - I had a huge surprise today. You sent me my little bag of money that I probably lost at the bratwurst stand (it was delicious). Thank you so much. I actually wanted to have a massage but the money was gone. It was supposed to be collected for a good cause at the massage. How and where can I send something? I would like to do that. Many thanks again. It was a great event. Kind regards from Burgdorf

Ralf

300 - 100 - I think I've been organising the MSR internally for 6 years now... and in all these years I have always been able to see the enthusiasm in the eyes of the participants when they talk about it. I have always been impressed by the respect for everyone's performance. I could only guess what 300 kilometres on a bike really meant. Most of the optimists made it, some didn't, and some tried several times. The ladies in particular were always enthusiastic about the 100 km lap, but I couldn't really grasp what was going on there. Now it was time to become part of this adventure myself - me, who rarely sits on a bike - and in short, I overcame all my reservations: the night ride, the immense distance, the perseverance and the possible need to give up. I went to the start a bit naïve, but at the finish I was ‘blue’ with overwhelming joy at what I had achieved at this everyman event.what I was able to experience was a community of only friendly people - at any time of day. The routes were sensationally prepared and secured. There was great food (nonsense, packing your own food), massages and much more. Always just great moments, with great people and a great community, all striving for the 300 km. It was such a nice change from the constant high-level complaining that we unfortunately often experience in our society. It was incredibly nice to experience something different. my personal MSR moment: after my first stage to Feldberg with an average speed of 31.5 km/h (the plan was 21 km/h), my rear brake went. I went to the Leffin stand, where it was quickly established that the brakes, axle and gears needed a complete overhaul. The mechanic (note: Andreas) invested 20-30 minutes to enable me to continue my journey without any further worries. In the meantime, I fortified myself and let myself be infected by the good mood in Feldberg. When I asked him how I could ever make up for it, he just said: ‘You'll finish, that's enough!’ . This spirit doesn't just give you goosebumps, it says more than 10,000 marketing photos can convey! Dear Mrs Arent, what you, your team and the many helpers have put together is absolutely amazing! It is unique and absolutely worthy of support. Thank you a thousand times over for your commitment! We look forward to inspiring employees to do this again next year.

THANK YOU on behalf of our team!

André

Team - Once again this year I was able to be part of the Mecklenburg Lakes Round, thank you very much for that.

My task was to capture the emotions and impressions of the MSR 100 from the ground and also from the air in pictures.

The weather was great and the participants obviously enjoyed it.

It would be great if I could be there again next year.

Best wishes from the Müritz

Heike

Depot - Yes, it was another mega event and a lot of fun. Many thanks for the great organisation to the whole team, they really thought of everything. The team on site was always on hand with help and advice, we felt we were in good hands. The participants were also full of praise for the organisation. I would love to be back next year.

Jerome

Depot feedback: I really enjoyed the MSR. The other volunteers were nice. I was pleased to see that I was able to help the cyclists and the gratitude of the athletes boosted my self-confidence. That's why I would like to take part again next year.

Elfi

100 - It was my 2nd time on the MSR tour.

The 10th tour was a successful day for us. Everything was perfect, from the weather to the service, the many helpers get a lot of praise.

From the first to the last depot, a big thank you to all the helpers who catered for us with so much friendliness. Also the message tent in Feldberg - sooo great therapists. We were welcomed with lots of music, a lovely community. And the service there too. I had 2 colleagues with me who were there for the first time. They were so enthusiastic about the wonderful day and would like to thank you very much.

The 10th event was a special day for me

André

300 - Hello, I took part in the MSR 2024.

It was a fantastic event. Unfortunately I arrived quite close to the start. As a result, I didn't have time to stow the bag I was given. Apart from the start numbers for the bike, there were probably other things in the bag. When I arrived at the finish, the bag was no longer there.

Now my question: Do you still have a bag with contents (stickers for the bike etc.) left? Maybe you could send it to me?

Red: FOR SURE!

Doris

300 - A warm greeting and a big thank you from Schleswig for a stunning tour. Seven people rode, the breathtaking landscape, the ice-age waves, delicious and varied catering with a great atmosphere at the depots, but then it's back on the bike...., the people from the region with their enthusiasm and of course: you, the team!

We sat together briefly in the evening and heard some anecdotes from Konstanze. And as long-time Sweden fans, we can understand them very well. Enthusiasm is contagious! And that's how new legends are born 👍. The MSR. The tenth anniversary was great. Here is our link to the short facebook report for you, a few pictures. Not included: the many red kites and storks. The distinctive lake landscape and the forests with their original heather vegetation are simply an experience.

Michael

What a great event, I really don't have the right words.
So forgive me for only trying to express my experience in simple words.
You have really great volunteers on the course, in the depots, at the start and finish area.
It's so much more fun when the people around you are so enthusiastic about an event like this. And not just the participants.
I'm really pleased with myself for having ridden 300 kilometres in one go for the first time.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to train as efficiently according to your training plan (beginners) as suggested, which is why I was quite insecure at the start.
You managed the route really well, the few main roads weren't really annoying at the end.
And if I understood correctly, you made the car drivers aware of the cycling event so that they seemed to be a bit more relaxed.
Best wishes to Chemnitz, that gave you some really good momentum for the end.
As a runner, you experience something similar at the Berlin Marathon at the wild boar or at the Hermannslauf in Oerlinghausen.
At the end of the day, the positive feeling is overwhelming, and 30/31.5.25 is noted in the planning
Thank you very much!

Heidi und Henrik

300 - ... was another successful event, you also managed the weather perfectly 😉 Is there still no date for the 11th edition?

Red: YES - 30-31 May 2025

Martin

Dear Franziska, dear Detlef, dear MSR team,

Thank you very much for organising the 10th MSR.

I enjoyed the event to the full and have been busy spreading the word about you ever since.

The promised video is on

YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3ybxAgnj0E

and hopefully conveys the enthusiasm I felt on the road.

Thank you once again for the passion you put into this tour. It was well worth it!

Michael

300 - people, great event. Great course, super organised and great refreshment zones (incl. massage) and very friendly people everywhere, including along the course. I'm taking very positive impressions back to Düsseldorf - see you in 2025
