General information

The arrival to the “Mecklenburger Seen Runde” is totally unproblematic and is possible with the car as well as with the train.

With the car

Neubrandenburg is located directly at the Baltic Sea motorway (autobahn) and several highways.

From the north:

  • A20:  exit-31 Neubrandenburg-Nord (north)
  • B104: comes from the A19, exit-13 Güstrow, leads over Teterow and Malchin to Neubrandenburg
  • B197: comes from Anklam (crossover to Usedom) and leads to Neubrandenburg

From the east:

  • B104: comes from Stettin, leads over Pasewalk and Woldegk to Neubrandenburg

From the west:

  • B192: comes from the A19, exit-18 Röbel/Müritz, leads over Waren to Neubrandenburg

With the train

You just take a train to the train station Neubrandenburg. The trains from Hamburg and Berlin arrive hourly. You can´t take your bike with you in the ICE. Otherwise a day ticket costs 6 euros. Partially there is a limited amount of bicycle stands, so in some trains you have to make a reservation for your bike. We advise you to inform yourself about the circumstances before your departure and if necessary ask the Deutsche Bahn for detailed information.
